Example workflows

What this looks like in practice

The examples below are illustrative. They describe the shape of work we automate — not specific customers. Where a real engagement is published in future, it will appear here with the customer named and their agreement, and with figures they have confirmed.

Document review

Example Workflow

A batch of documents arrives and has to be read, understood and turned into a structured list someone can work from. The reading is unavoidable; the retyping is not.

Before

  • 100 documents
  • Manual reading
  • Copying information into Excel
  • Repeated checking
  • Several hours of work

After

  • Documents
  • Information extraction
  • Validation
  • Human review
  • Structured output

Recurring business report

Example Workflow

The same report goes out every month, assembled by hand from the same sources each time. The judgement in it takes minutes; the assembly takes most of a day.

Before

  • Collect spreadsheets
  • Copy figures
  • Read supporting documents
  • Write commentary
  • Format report

After

  • Data + documents
  • Automated preparation
  • AI-supported analysis
  • Human approval
  • Finished report

Supplier comparison

Example Workflow

Several suppliers respond in different formats against the same requirements. Comparing them fairly is slow, and the gaps tend to surface after a decision has already been made.

Before

  • Multiple supplier documents
  • Different formats
  • Manual comparison
  • Missing information discovered late

After

  • Supplier documents
  • Structured extraction
  • Comparison
  • Missing-item detection
  • Human decision
Case studies

How we will write these up

We have not published customer case studies yet, and we will not invent them. When we do publish one, it will follow the structure below — shown here with an illustrative workflow so you can see what to expect.

Inspection records into a structured register

Example Workflow

The problem

Inspection reports arrived as PDFs from several sources, in several layouts. Each one had to be opened, read and summarised into a central register before anything could be reported on.

The existing process

An administrator worked through the week's reports one at a time, copying dates, reference numbers, findings and outcomes into a shared spreadsheet, then chasing whatever was missing or illegible.

The automation

A workflow that reads each report, pulls the same fields regardless of layout, checks them against the expected format and assembles the register entry — leaving anything ambiguous marked for attention.

Human oversight

Flagged entries and anything scoring low on confidence go to the administrator for a decision. Nothing enters the register without a person accepting it, and every field links back to its source page.

Result

This is where the measured improvement goes: time per cycle before and after, rework or correction rate, turnaround time. We will only publish figures the customer has measured and agreed — no estimates.

Technology

Built and operated on QMerse, our visual workflow platform, which is what keeps each step of the workflow inspectable after it goes live.

No testimonials, logos, ROI figures or customer names appear anywhere on this site until they are real and approved.

Next step

Does any of this look like your work?

If one of these felt uncomfortably familiar, that process is probably worth half an hour of conversation.
